Position Summary...
This role develops a product assortment by focusing on fabric/material, quality, styling details, and execution from sample development through to production, maintaining the vision and direction of the category and brand.What you'll do...
Support departmental brand strategy and execution of seasonal collections annually, aligning with the overall product vision. Execute product opportunities while optimizing margin, quality, styling, and price. Collaborate on building the brand sub-segment through market analysis and trend assessment to support strategic vision and the needs of the organization.
Track assortment development and progress through production, maintaining commodity visual index documents. Support preparation for presentations and vendor negotiations. Collaborate on approvals of artwork, fabric, trims, and other product requirements. Execute graphic requirements using technical skills or by communicating seasonal briefs to external resources.
Support the delivery of the brand through preparation of tech design, monitoring timing to ensure development samples and production meet deadlines. Manage critical path activities against the merchandising calendar, ensuring sample delivery and approvals meet critical deadlines.
Manage and maintain assortment tech packs. Develop specifications on fit, fabric, trim, artwork, and other requirements to reach financial targets and merchandising deadlines, in collaboration with the design and tech design teams.

Qualifications
- Post secondary education in Fashion Design.
- Extensive knowledge of pattern-making, draping, grading and garment construction.
- Textile and manufacturing knowledge.
- Knowledge of factory production; domestic and import.
- Photoshop and Illustrator experience (Technical and Artistic).
- Communication experience with Import and Domestic Vendors.
- Prior merchandising or product development experience.
- Excel.
- Minimum Education Required College corticate or diploma
- Minimum Years of Experience Required 3 to 5 years
