Position Summary...
The Director, Marketing Operations is responsible for leading the in Store Signage Strategy & Governance. Influences, leads and plans strategic in-store signage initiatives in alignment with Marketing & Business strategy along with owning the budget. The Director is responsible to partner with cross-functional leaders, providing direction on the strategy to drive customer experience in Regular / Relays / Next Gen /Prototype / special project stores including Grand opening. Leads the in store signage strategy including concept creation for both regular and prototype / renovation stores. Partnering with design, format and construction regarding the development and implementation of new proto store and/or store tests as it relates to In Store Marketing (concepts and designs)
Leads the implementation of in store signage programs and key seasonal campaigns for regular business, by working cross functionally with internal partners, such as Category Marketing, Creative, WM Connect, Store Operations, Central Operations, Format, Fixtures and external vendors. Including digital signage, pricing, Omni.
Identify, develop, and implement new form and function solutions for signage opportunities in store while keeping true to signage governance.
Partners with Format and Central Operations teams to develop cadence and framework to enable executional excellence in signage and pricing programs.
Develops a framework for clear and consistent signage guardrails for merchants and vendors, leads Signage governance for executional excellence. Works cross-functionally with design/format teams to ensure governance.
Lead and support Marketing and Corporate projects with signage, partnering with PMO to ensure project management throughout all projects.
Leads development and negotiation of signage budget in collaboration with Marketing Leadership, Finance, external Vendor partners. Revising as appropriate to meet changing requirements.
Leadership role in evaluating, hiring, and developing the overall talent level of the marketing operations team. Role model cultural behavior and help build cross-functional high performing matrix teams; Cultivate relationships with US and International counterparts to share best practices & insights.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Years of Experience Required: 6-8 Years of leadership experience
- Driving results in a matrixed organization
- Strong financial acumen
- Strong collaboration and influence - Building relationships with Internal and External stakeholders
- Previous experience working in marketing operations is preferred
