Job Description:
The Manager, Business Analysis and Insights supports the development and execution of strategic approaches to manage and optimize business operations. This involves utilizing advanced analytical tools and techniques to collect, organize, and interpret data, identifying trends and anomalies to uncover opportunities for improvement. The position may also be responsible for conducting ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into specific areas to address immediate concerns or support strategic initiatives.
In addition to data analysis, the role collaborates cross functionally to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develops dashboards to monitor operational processes, generate comprehensive reports, and create data visualizations that effectively communicate findings. The Manager also provides insights and recommendations to stakeholders to drive operational efficiencies, optimize workflows, and enhance business outcomes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and ensure continuous improvement is a key aspect of the role.
The Manager may also be involved in forecasting and predictive analytics to anticipate potential challenges or opportunities, assess capacity requirements, and analyze resource allocation. This role fosters strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of tech requirements, enhancements, and innovations to automate and streamline operations. Continuous identification of test and learn opportunities, managing vendor relationships, and staying abreast of industry trends and capabilities are also critical components of the job.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related)
- 3–5 years in analytics, business intelligence, or operations strategy, ideally in retail, eCommerce, or Supply Chain
- Hands‑on proficiency with data analysis (SQL and/or Python/R), BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), and data visualization best practices
- Experience designing KPIs/OKRs, building executive dashboards, and driving measurable outcomes through cross‑functional collaboration
- Strong problem solving and structured communication—able to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations
