Position Summary...

The Campaign Manager for Marketplace will be responsible for facilitating best-in-class digital marketing campaigns with the goal of driving marketplace GMV and conversion by improving marketplace visibility on Walmart.ca. This includes working with Walmart Canada’s Marketplace leaders to identify marketing opportunities, scope and assess options to drive more visibility for the Marketplace business across the website and all marketing channels. The Campaign Manager will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business, including Commercial Marketing, Site/Category Experience, Tech, Legal, WFS, and Marketplace category leaders

What you'll do...

  • The Manager, Campaign Management drives the flawless setup and execution of campaigns, monitoring goals and key performance indicators to ensure on-schedule and full delivery. They may also optimize campaigns, propose media strategies, and troubleshoot technical issues with internal stakeholders.
  • As a subject matter expert, the Manager analyzes data to pull relevant campaign results, supporting Account Management with insights to inform gaps and revenue growth opportunities. This includes hosting status calls, delivering performance strategies, and escalating potential risks with resolutions.
  • Partnering with Sales and Account Managers, the Manager builds and grows client relationships, attending client meetings as needed. They also develop and support the Campaign/Event Planning process, ensuring it is on time, accurate, and compliant with business rules.
  • The Manager trains cross-functional team members on campaign processes to maintain compliance and accuracy while simplifying existing processes through automation to save time and effort for stakeholders.
  • They strategize, design, develop, and implement campaign and event strategies for Marketplace that align with Commercial Campaigns, driving views to the Marketplace business.
  • The Manager builds effective cross-functional relationships with Digital Marketing, Commercial Planning, and Site/Category Experience teams to ensure proper visibility of Marketplace sellers and offers, driving GMV and conversion.
  • They analyze and report results of each campaign, delivering a return on investment and providing recommendations to improve offer productivity, lift, and forecast accuracy.
  • The Manager builds and executes robust promotional plans, reviewed regularly with stakeholder partners to ensure continuous cross-functional alignment, and drives various promotional campaigns while working with cross-functional execution partners.
  • They make data-driven decisions to ensure maximum exposure for campaigns, build forecasts, actuals reporting, and post-mortems for larger events, and discover gaps in the marketing business to propose new event/exposure ideas.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in a combination of Retail Marketing, Digital Advertising, Retail Merchandising, Product Marketing, and/or Ecommerce.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and/or external clients, with a strong aptitude for networking and building relationships.
  • Knowledge of the OMNI retail landscape; Ecommerce experience strongly preferred.
  • Cross-functional retail knowledge, with a foundation in how other areas of the business operate.
  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Strong presentation, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel (advanced lookups, pivot tables, macros).
  • Ability to understand and interpret retail math.
