Position Summary...

This role may oversee department operations, develop training content, and support merchandise execution to drive business results and continuous improvement.

What you'll do...

This role will be responsible for developing guides and training materials to support major changes, new services, and product launches. The role will also create content to explain merchandising strategies and provide transition plans for operational execution. Collaboration with various business areas may be required to communicate resource needs and implementation requirements.


The role will analyze feedback and sales data to determine program effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities. Monitoring the execution of advertising, marketing, and in-store promotions may also be part of the responsibilities. Recommendations for program enhancements will be provided based on data and operational insights.

This role will support the implementation of business solutions by building partnerships with stakeholders, identifying business needs, and adapting to organizational changes. The role will also develop communication platforms, such as playbooks and videos, to guide merchandise execution and ensure alignment with business objectives.

The role will lead multiple work streams for cross-functional projects, translating strategies into executable programs. Responsibilities may include project planning, timeline development, and communication of project plans. The role will analyze trends, develop reports, and provide guidance to ensure successful execution of merchandise strategies and continuous improvement.

Here are some examples of the day-to-day tasks for this role:

  • Ensure pricing materials, signage, and product placement meet company merchandising standards with accuracy and consistency

  • Collaborate with Store Managers, Category Managers, and Replenishment teams to identify and close execution gaps

  • Conduct regular store visits to monitor merchandising execution and provide actionable feedback

  • Develop and edit concise training videos to support in-store execution and process understanding

  • Collect feedback from store teams to continuously improve tools, resources, and operational processes

Qualifications:

  • College Certificate or Diploma

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • Retail Experience

  • Program management skill is an asset

  • Experience leading special projects and initiatives
