Position Summary...

The Manager, Product Information Management (PIM) Applications, is a subject matter expert on our Product Information Management (PIM) System.

In this role, you will govern workflow implementation within the system, assuming ownership of item creation and maintenance related system applications. Additionally, you will evaluate escalation requirements for system bugs and enhancements, assigning tickets and tasks with user inputs to Level 2 Support channels, Engineering, and Product teams as necessary.

What you'll do...

Lead the implementation of the Next Gen PIM (GOI) from an Ecommerce perspective, you will focus on attribute execution and category metadata synchronization. During the transition, you will manage operations of the legacy PIM, liaise with Walmart International and offshore teams, and provide support to internal users in setting up items, updating content, and managing system applications. You will also intake JIRA requests for super user functions, distribute workload, and handle the import and export of product data. 

Your responsibilities extend to providing oversight to a team of employees. Maintaining accurate business and system reports, ensuring SLA compliance, and providing ad-hoc user training are vital to your role, ensuring continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Minimum 5-7 years of experience with 1-3 years of management or supervisory experience

System Governance and Execution: 

• Govern workflow implementation within the system 
• Ownership of item creation and maintenance related system applications
  

Business Escalations 

• Evaluate escalation requirements for system bugs and enhancements 
• Assign tickets and tasks for bugs and enhancements with user inputs to Level 2 Support channels, Engineering and Product teams as necessary 
• Act as business representative on technical calls and meetings regarding system bugs and enhancement requests

Change Management & Oversight of Next Gen PIM Implementation: 

• Lead the implementation of the Next Gen PIM (GOI) from an Ecommerce perspective. 
• Focus on attribute execution and category metadata synchronization. 
• Ensure accurate configuration of backend product data for desired frontend treatment.

User Permissions and Roles: 

• Manage operations of the legacy PIM during the transition to the new system
• Team Management
• Provide oversight to a team of 9 employees, inclusive of a Manager/Supervisory level contract lead 
• Liaise with Walmart International for 3rd party integration when required
  

Internal User Support:

• Provide support to internal users in using the application to set up items. 
• Assist in updating data and content for existing item records 
• Intake JIRA requests for super user functions and distribute workload  
• Import and Export of product data
  

Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up to date reports on business metrics, system metrics and various KPI’s 
• Maintain reporting that Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are being met  

Training:

• Provide user training in operation of the system on an ad-hoc basis 
• Assess whether users need to be assigned through the formal system training program operated by the training team
