(CAN) Regional Manager, Technology - Logistics

Position Summary...
Responsibilities include leading a team of technology professionals who provide support to logistics operations warehouse, desktop, network hardware and applications systems within the region. The region may consist of one or more provinces.This role acts as the technology leadership contact for operations within the region and manages the relationship between technology and various sites and/or operations.
What you'll do...
The leader in this role will possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Manage, lead and develop a team of technology professionals.This role will also include team development, performance management, and training.Manage team schedules to provide support coverage across sites. Build and foster a collaborative and strategic environment to deliver quality service for the logistics business.
Financial responsibility may include working within a budget to complete projects, assisting with budget development. Identify and budget for end of life equipment based on roadmaps.
Responsibilities may also include maintain operating expenses as well as proposing improvements during capital planning sessions.
The Regional IT Manager will ensure the regions adherence of SLA’s and KPI’s as defined for logistics support. Interface with contract vendor partners and internal support business partners to ensure SLA compliance.
This role will develop programs within the logistics environment to simplify the use of tools such as Service Now, as well as generate reporting of regions SLA’s.
Exercise independent judgment. This role allows that the Regional IT manager act independently under minimal supervision within the region, while ensuring all processes and policies are adhered to.
Develop standard documentation to support new projects and existing processes. Drive continuous improvement opportunities to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery.
Facilitates and conducts planning meetings, taskforces, and workgroups with key stakeholders.This role is also required to attend regular daily, weekly operations meeting, communicating all technology enhancements, application upgrades, as well as securing outage periods when required.
Irregular hours as well as international and domestic travel may be required.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Years of Experience Required 8+ years
Minimum Years of Experience in Tech Leadership role 5+ years
Practical knowledge of Computer Processes, Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise tools, Server Build, VM Ware/Nutanix, Network Topologies, Warehouse Management Systems
Professional Certificates / Designation in Operating Systems, IT Service Management, Networking and Project Management
