Position Summary...

This role, in partnership with Global InfoSec, is responsible for supporting security reviews and risk assessments in accordance with industry best practices. It provides guidance on IT risks and compliance, and involves planning, coordinating, and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls.

What you'll do...

The role analyzes and identifies risk by understanding factors that influence impact and likelihood of risk. This includes building working knowledge and relationships between risk and governance, developing expertise in risk analysis within specific security specialties, and tracking the remediation of known vulnerabilities.

This role also provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, determining necessary processes and practices, monitoring progress and results, and adapting to organizational changes and new responsibilities.

The role monitors, analyzes, and remediates IT security risks and vulnerabilities by following defined operating procedures, reviewing metrics to identify inefficiencies, providing feedback, and participating in initiatives or tasks that alter current processes. Additionally, it assists in the implementation of security governance by administering governance processes, ensuring familiarity with security policies and standards, and modeling various governance concepts.

Furthermore, the role manages the execution of security initiatives by resolving critical issues, monitoring progress, escalating complex issues, providing informational presentations, managing stakeholder expectations, and developing performance reports. It coordinates compliance efforts by monitoring the implementation of specific information security controls, understanding regulatory concepts, and developing an understanding of multiple compliance areas. This role models compliance with company policies, supports the company's mission and values, and assists others in executing business processes and practices effectively

Qualifications

  • University degree is required
  • minimum level of work experience required for this role: 7-10 years
  • minimum level of supervisory/management experience required for this role: 3-5 years
  • special licenses or certifications: NIST, ISO 2700X, PCI, SOX, ITGC, CISA, CISM, CGEIT
  • technical or job specific skills; COBIT, ITIL, ITSM, COMPTIA Network+, COMPTIA Security+, CISSP, CIS
