Position Summary...

The Senior Analyst, Business Analytics & Insights will manage and analyze data to provide actionable insights and performance recommendations.
This role may involve interpreting complex data sets, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with various teams to design intuitive reporting solutions and embed analytics into structured decision-making processes.
The position ensures insights, predictive outputs, and AI-generated analysis are presented in a way that is accessible, trusted, explainable, and actionable across the business.

What you'll do...

The Senior Analyst, Business Analytics & Insights will manage the interpretation, analytics reporting, and analysis for key insights and performance recommendations.

The role may involve compiling and analyzing data, and ensuring data accuracy through regular audits and effective visualization and reporting practices. This position may also assist in the development of measurement tools and platforms while fostering strong business partnerships.

The role will involve designing and developing dashboards and reporting solutions using strong UX/UI principles to enhance clarity, usability, and adoption.

Additionally, it may include translating complex datasets, predictive outputs, and AI-generated insights into structured decision frameworks and clear business recommendations.

The position will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their evolving information needs and design reporting solutions aligned to business priorities.

Responsibilities may include data management, extraction, and visualization, as well as managing job responsibilities in an AGILE (SCRUM) fashion. Business requirements gathering and KPI management are also integral parts of the role.

The Senior Analyst will also support the development of innovative solutions, design and implement new processes, and monitor business performance against key metrics. The role involves analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement projects that lead to scalable processes.

The role may also involve establishing reporting standards and visualization best practices, collaborating with backend analytics teams to translate curated datasets into decision-ready reporting experiences, and monitoring adoption and engagement to continuously improve the analytics experience.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or decision support roles within a complex business environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau with demonstrated dashboard design expertise.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles as applied to analytics and data visualization.
  • Experience establishing visualization standards, design systems, or reporting governance frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience translating predictive analytics or AI outputs into business-facing insights.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills with the ability to present insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally to design reporting solutions that drive adoption.
  • Experience measuring and improving reporting usability or engagement is an asset.
  • Experience operating within an AGILE (SCRUM) delivery framework is an asset.

The pay range for this position is $74,000.00 - $101,750.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
