Position Summary...

The Senior Analyst, Tax, supports compliance, accounting, forecasting, and reporting obligations. This role involves analyzing complex transactions, legislative changes, and system updates, while also assisting in audits and ensuring accurate tax payments and account reconciliations.

What you'll do...

The Senior Analyst, Tax, assists with the completion of tax compliance and reporting obligations by preparing accurate tax returns, information returns, and reports. This position works with various stakeholders to ensure tax issues are identified, documented, and properly reported. The role may involve supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting obligations to government and business stakeholders.

This position ensures timely and accurate tax payments through thorough analysis and collaboration with stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing tax account reconciliations, researching reconciling items, and ensuring timely corrections. The Senior Analyst, Tax, also supports government audit requirements by preparing documentation and working papers to respond to queries.

Participation in business initiatives is crucial to minimize tax exposure and ensure proper system functionality. The Senior Analyst, Tax, monitors legislative developments, assesses their impact, and ensures compliance. The role involves building partnerships with various business units to review financial information, drive awareness of tax impacts, and identify emerging issues.

Additionally, the Senior Analyst, Tax, cross-trains and provides backup support for various tax positions as needed. The position may also involve system updates or implementations to enhance tax functions and compliance processes.
