Position Summary...
The Senior Coordinator, Aviation Operations supports company flight operations by working closely with the Leadership Team, Executive Assistants and both U.S. and Canadian Customs. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating with pilots and engineers to ensure seamless travel on company aircraft. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), cross-border procedures, airport operations, and financial processes. This role involves creating and planning trips to ensure cost-effective routing and suitable airport utilization. The role may also provide flight crew, department personnel, and associates with current schedules and historical data as required. Coordination with airports for aircraft, passenger, and crew needs, including fuel availability, hangar, and thaw out facilities, is essential. Ensuring best price fuel practices may also be a part of the responsibilities.
This role will validate department invoices, process them through the correct mechanisms, and ensure timely payment. Maintaining regulated flight records along with all departmental records as required by the Operations Manual is crucial. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the Aviation department's Company Operations Manual and may also involve collecting, preparing, and submitting passenger data for customs officials.
Acting as an effective liaison and support associate between traveling associates and flight crew is a key responsibility. This role ensures seamless communication and coordination to facilitate smooth operations and support for all aviation-related activities.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of experience in aviation operations or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Dispatcher Certification or equivalent.
- Experience working in a high-pressure, 24/7 operational environment.
- Familiarity with aviation regulatory compliance and safety management systems.
