Position Summary...

This role drives a data-driven culture by leveraging diverse data sources to understand customer behavior, improve operational efficiencies, and provide actionable insights for smarter decision-making. The team is creative, diligent, entrepreneurial, and business-focused.

What you'll do...

  • This role involves identifying suitable data sources, performing initial quality checks, and supporting the prioritization of requirements. The role may also conduct exploratory data analysis, design experiments, test hypotheses, and finalize experiment dimensions. Selecting appropriate analytical modeling techniques for structured, complex data and developing custom analytical models is a key responsibility.
  • Assessment and validation of models by applying best practices for testing and tuning are essential to ensure accuracy, fit, validity, and robustness. This role tests developed software, translates business requirements into projects and tasks, and aligns activities with the overall business strategy. Acting as a conduit between business needs and tangible solutions, this role connects stakeholders with results.
  • Executing projects from discovery to solution design, model building, and results communication is a fundamental aspect. The role may recommend new processes and ways of working while presenting to and influencing team members and business audiences using appropriate frameworks to convey clear messages based on business and stakeholder understanding
  • As a senior data scientist, this role leads projects and provide guidance to junior data scientists. The role may supervise junior data scientists and review their work to ensure the quality standards are met.

Technical Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a data scientist.
  • Experience in time-series analysis, forecasting, regression models, and segmentation is required.
  • Ability to gather insights from data and generate action items is required.
  • In addition to standard ML approaches, experience with LLMs is preferred.
  • Exposure to multiple different projects is a plus.
  • Proficiency in one of R and Python is a must.
  • Proficiency in SQL is a must.
  • Familiarity with GCP is a plus.
