The Senior Manager, Merchandising Activity Planning leads the strategy, planning, and execution of commercial activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This position designs and implements comprehensive strategies and operational plans to optimize commercial activities, including creating a 12-24 month commercialization calendar and robust analytical tools for performance monitoring and decision-making.
The role may also drive cross-functional synergy by engaging teams to finalize annual commercialization calendars and establishing collaborative environments for key initiatives. The focus includes rigorous commercial execution processes, standardizing operational processes across various platforms, and implementing innovative tracking tools.
Additionally, the position supports the commercial planning strategy agenda, driving annual planning processes with senior executives and facilitating post-meeting action plans. The role includes leading end-to-end strategies for key commercial events, building and presenting strategic plans, and ensuring a consistent omni-channel customer experience.
Accountable for continuous improvement, the Senior Manager proactively enhances strategies, advises senior leaders, and fosters innovation in operational practices. This position may also influence and gain consensus from cross-functional partners, ensuring effective execution of commercial plans and maximizing GMV growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree – MBA considered an asset
5+ years of experience in a similar Merchandise Activity planning role
