Position Summary...

As the Senior Manager of Store Space Design, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of store remodels and format initiatives that drive sales growth, enhance profitability, and elevate the customer experience. This role is pivotal in shaping the physical retail environment to align with business goals and customer expectations.

What you'll do...

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Project Scoping:
    Define and refine the scope of remodel and format projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Use store templates and data-driven insights to guide decision-making and prioritize initiatives that deliver measurable impact.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Partner with Format Team, merchandising, operations, real estate, and other key stakeholders to understand project scope and translate them into actionable design plans. Facilitate alignment across teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Store Analysis & Planning:
    Lead in-store assessments to evaluate layout effectiveness, operational flow, and customer engagement. Use findings to inform store layout and design recommendations and optimize space utilization.

  • Third Party & Resource Management:
    Oversee third-party consultants and design partners, managing contracts, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure external resources are leveraged effectively to support large-scale projects.

  • Design Optimization & Tools:
    Utilize space planning tools and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable recommendations to enhance store layouts and maximize productivity.

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    Inspire and guide team members to adopt best practices in design and planning. Prioritize workload, foster collaboration, and promote continuous learning and innovation.

  • Leadership Engagement:
    Present strategic proposals and project plans to senior leadership, securing buy-in and support for key initiatives. Communicate clearly and persuasively to influence decision-making.

Qualifications :

  • 5-7 Years of Retail planning and design

  • Revit/AutoCAD experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Bluebeam)

  • Strong understanding of strategic planning and data analytics,  

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, and project management

  • Understanding of Gen AI
