- This role focuses on hands-on development, technical guidance, and implementation of best practices across coding standards, security, automation, and modern AI-driven development approaches.
- This is a highly hands-on role requiring strong full-stack expertise, working knowledge of GCP, and exposure to Generative AI / Agentic development.
- The role also contributes to building and scaling test automation practices, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Actively contribute to design, development, and code reviews for critical applications.
- Provide technical guidance to developers on architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
- Contribute to building scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
- Partner with teams to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.
- Design, build, and deploy applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Work with teams to implement cloud-native patterns, including microservices and containerisation.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Support optimisation of cloud performance, scalability, and cost
- Contribute to use cases leveraging LLMs, Generative AI, and agent-based workflows.
- Assist in building and integrating agentic solutions (multi-step workflows, automation, orchestration).
- Partner with data science and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into applications.
- Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and apply them where relevant.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery tracking.
- Communicate technical solutions and trade-offs effectively.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5–7 years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Core Technical Skills
- Strong full-stack development experience (frontend + backend + APIs).
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (e.g., Compute, Kubernetes, BigQuery, Storage).
- Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Node.js, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and automation tools.
AI / Data (Preferred)
- Basic to intermediate understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, or AI/ML concepts.
- Exposure to building or integrating AI-driven features.
- Data engineering or data science exposure is a plus.
