Position Summary...
Analyze transportation metrics, identify trends, and translate data-driven findings into actionable insights that optimize daily operations and inform strategic decisions. Provide hands-on support and administration for all transportation systems, ensuring continuous tool utilization, correct user permissions, and rapid issue resolution.What you'll do...
- Continuously maintain and update transportation dashboards and key performance metrics, ensuring the highest standards of data accuracy and integrity while packaging insights for leadership.
Oversee all work tickets on tools (internal & external), managing reviews and escalations to ensure timely resolution.
- Reorganize databases to meet national and regional requirements, optimizing structure and performance based on data insights.
- Act as a liaison for front-line teams, IT, management, and database users, providing training, addressing questions, and tailoring programs/tools to resolve common queries.
- Manage master databases, set user-permission levels, and organize groupings, using data insights to forecast and prevent potential access issues.
- Work closely with Insights Managers to support projects, communicate updates, and assist with process improvements and SOP creation.
- Serve as an expert on Salesforce and other transportation tools, supporting cross-functional teams in their use and optimization.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, automation, and workflow scripting.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining interactive dashboards in Tableau (or comparable BI tools).
- Proven ability to build end-to-end data workflows/pipelines—from ingesting raw data to distributing outputs across downstream systems.
- Familiarity with API integrations (nice to have).
Analytical Foundations
- Knowledge of forecasting methodologies to support projections for a variety of transportation and performance metrics.
- Understanding of operations-research or mathematical-optimization techniques.
Transportation & Systems (nice to have)
- Exposure to Transportation Systems or comparable logistics platforms; able to understand underlying data models and translate findings into business-ready outputs.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/case-management tools.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Supply-Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in transportation, supply chain, or operations is an asset.
