This role leads the development of marketing strategies and omni-channel plans to align with business objectives and drive customer engagement. The role will be the business facing lead with key partners, influencing business decisions and directions, and aligning on marketing plans. Utilizing complex customer and KPI analyses, the role identifies opportunities within different customer segments and makes recommendations to optimize marketing tactics. The role also performs high-level reviews of customer, competitor, and site analyses to develop insights and identify marketing opportunities.
The role is responsible for drafting and aligning category marketing strategies with overall business objectives, utilizing insights from various analyses to recommend innovative tactics to differentiate categories in the marketplace. The role also represents categories in team settings to design and propose marketing strategies and ensures alignment of integrated media and creative development plans with overall marketing strategies.
Campaign performance is closely monitored, with the role providing recommendations to optimize media and creative development plans based on evaluation and insights. Regular reporting on marketing metrics, revenue goals, and budget usage is conducted, with adjustments recommended based on performance data.
The role will manage category marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and strong return on investment. They will also work with external agencies and vendors to support campaign execution and drive innovation.
Collaboration with marketing leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners is key to developing and implementing marketing programs. The role requires a strong communication to explain marketing plans to cross functional teams and drive action across the business to participate actively in programs. The role oversees customer experience roadmaps and coordinates with various stakeholders to develop campaign content. Additionally, the role takes an active role in creating a positive team morale by taking the initiative to participate and lead team building activities and initiatives.
