Position Summary...

To provide customer service by coordinating the activities of associates to complete assigned tasks relating to receiving and the flow of merchandise through to the sales floor. This will be accomplished by unloading trailers, pulling pallets to the floor and assisting in the processing of merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Department Manager will function as a lead of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.

What you'll do...

1. Contribuer à un environnement de travail sécuritaire, propre et sans danger en respectant les directives et les procédures de la Compagnie, y compris en remplissant les registres de balayage de sécurité et en s’assurant que les présentoirs et les modules sont sécuritaires.
2. Préparer et réaménager l’aire de réception.
3. Décharger et trier les remorques de marchandise générale et effectuer le déchargement direct d’autres types de marchandises.
4. Déléguer, faire le suivi et déplacer des palettes de marchandise dans l’aire de vente en vue du stockage de nuit.
5. Déléguer, faire le suivi et aider au stockage, appliquer la protection des articles (ex. : Spider Wire) dans l’aire de vente et procéder à la mise en place des surplus de marchandise dans les emplacements de stockage.
6. Former, accompagner et offrir de la rétroaction aux associés.
7. Agir à titre de leadeur d’équipe en donnant des instructions aux préposé à l’approvisionnement soir.
8. Maintenir l’intégrité de la chaîne frigorifique lors de la réception de produits réfrigérés et congelés.
