What you'll do...

This position is integral to upholding Walmart’s core values by demonstrating respect, integrity, a commitment to excellence, and delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality and ensuring customer satisfaction within the Dairy/Frozen department.

Key requirements include:

1. Zones the department.
2. Rotates stock and checking for expired products.
3. Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
4. Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
5. Adheres to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures.
6. Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
7. Maintains features.
8. Keeps the area neat clean, and organized, and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.

9. Working in the Dairy/Frozen department handling chilled and frozen products.

10. Demonstrating comfort and ability to work in cold environments for extended periods.

11. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of regular job duties.

This role is offered on a contract basis, with the potential for permanent employment contingent upon satisfactory performance and business needs.
