Position Summary...

Responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments to and from the DC.

What you'll do...

1. Accurately complete and maintain all necessary reports, logs, and forms.

2. Email yard check report to various drop carriers daily.

3. Create yard summary report daily and email to TL’s/Manager.

4. Copy 4871 & shunt movement history daily from DC yard and save it in the appropriate folder.

5. Complete yard check using hand held yard check gun.

6. Investigate and resolve yard inventory related opportunities

7. Verify status of trailer with information on the yard check gun (carrier, trailer #, seal #, contents, yard zone and status).

8. Report and follow-up on any aging inbound trailers.  

9. Confirm all shiploads in the yard have appropriate BOL created and accounted for.

10. Organize & reconcile monthly manager’s yard checks.

11. Position involves a mixture of indoor and outdoor work. While working outdoors the associate will be exposed to the elements.

12. Assist with various office tasks as needed.
