Position Summary...

The Manager, Key Accounts is accountable for the operational relationship with Sellers on the Walmart Canada marketplace. This role will enable Sellers to successfully list product and generate sales on the Walmart Canada marketplace. As the primary operational contact for Sellers, this role will drive seller success, maximize GMV and resolve operational challenges from active Sellers in an effective and timely manner.

Managing Key Seller Accounts the successful candidate will leverage analytics to meet financial and operational goals, build strong internal and external relationships to create, present and deliver compelling customer centric solutions. Responsibilities will include optimizing assortment to improve Seller store visibility, and conversion.
Successful candidates should be decisive, quick learners, strategic thinkers, solution oriented with a digital & data-first mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit. This role is heavily cross-functional, requiring knowledge of merchandising, marketing, operations, finance, and technology. Candidates should also understand how to use technology to enable business needs. The goal is to contribute in growing our business to achieve long-term success.

What you'll do...

1. Drive seller visibility and growth on the Walmart Canada marketplace

2. Collaborate with site merchandising to develop seller focused events, campaigns and promotions

3. Ownership of the operational relationship with active Sellers on the Walmart Canada marketplace

4. Ensure internal (both Walmart Canada and Global) support teams respond to and resolve operational issues in an effective and timely manner.

5. Continuously analyze data and evaluate the quality of marketplace product listings. Coach and guide Sellers on opportunities to drive incremental sales and improve the customer experience.

6. Identify Sellers with frequent out of stock issues and drive Seller accountability for product availability.

7. Identify and remove products from the Walmart Canada marketplace that do not align to the marketplace strategy or Walmart policies.

8. Drive superior operational execution through development and ownership of the Walmart Canada marketplace seller scorecard.

Qualifications

  • Previous working experience as Key Account Manager is an asset 
  • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
  • Aptitude in networking and building relationships 
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Must have strong general business knowledge acumen
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills is an asset
  • Experience working with Salesforce and Adobe Analytics is an asset
  • Experience in Retail Merchandising, Marketplace, Product Marketing, or e-Commerce is an asset
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is an asset
