Position Summary...

Walmart Canada is looking for an experienced, dynamic and innovative, Product Manager to manage products through the entire product life cycle. As leaders in the Technology organization, Product Managers balance their passion as the voice of the customer with their pragmatic responsibility to make sound business and technology decisions. As the face of technology for their respective domain, strong candidates will have a sound understanding of retail business, a solid record for delivering customer centric results, and a natural affinity to cultivating trusting relationships with partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ideation & Planning: Lead/ Participate in brainstorming sessions and conceptualize innovative features and functionalities. Partner in building successful business cases. Develop a strong sense of purpose and communicate this to all levels.
  • Drive product execution: Facilitate requirement gathering meetings create feature backlog, drive prioritization to meet the product objectives. Work with vendors, internal business & tech teams to deliver the right solution.
  • Customer focused: Understand the customers and be the voice of customers frustrations, and desires in cross-functional meetings and influence decisions. Gather feedback and make recommendations for product improvement.
  • Product Analytics: Utilize analytics to inform product decisions and measure product performance. Build dashboards, tools to share product results with stakeholders. Drive OKRs that contribute to meet objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build trust with stakeholders and influence to get consensus from diverse group of stakeholders. Be comfortable to navigate through ambiguity and give clarity to leadership and stakeholders
  • Cross-functional alignment: Be the bridge for diverse group of teams and ensure all teams have the information required to positively contribute to the success of the product.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management and has successfully launched a products and improved KPIs
  • Ability to interpret data, build reports working with analytics team, provide actionable insights to a variety of audiences, and drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas succinctly to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong bias to action and ability to think 360 degree of everything needed to launch and improve the product in a structured way.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priority tasks and be self-reliant in rapidly changing situations.
  • Have a sense of accountability and be willing to take responsibility for product outcomes and meet delivery timelines. Be comfortable to have difficult conversations.
  • Be natural in providing feedback both good and scope for improvement. Be the voice to celebrate wins and the people who supported in making things happen.
  • Health products, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy experience is a nice to have. If you don’t have that is ok if you are ready for a new challenge and you are strong product manager
